How to Make a

Mini Fruit Bowl

For Your Pet Rabbit

(What Fruits Your Rabbit Can&Can't Eat)

You can use Apples, Bananas, Mango, Broccoli, White or Red Grapes, Pitted Cherries, or Strawberries.  For more of a filler you can add a Tbs or two of Rolled Oats in the bottom or on top of the bowl.

Make sure that the fruit/veggies are washed!!

Rabbits have very sensitive stomachs.  Giving them the wrong foods, even by mistake, is very harmful and even fatal.  Some foods are even toxic to rabbits.

Remember that these are treats not meals.

Experiment with different foods to see which ones your rabbits prefer.  All of my rabbits like banana and carrots, but they can be picky on what berries they eat.

A healthy adult rabbit can have roughly 2 Tbs of fruit every other day.

If you have a smaller breed of rabbit I would recommend only 3 Tbs of fruits a week. Make sure you research or check with a vet if you are going to add any additional fruits or veggies that are not listed!!

Toxic Foods

Some foods that can be toxic to your rabbit are Chocolate, Rhubarb, Iceberg Lettuce, Onions and Garlic, Meat, Nuts, and dairy.

For My fruit bowls I used Carrots, Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries.  One of my bowls only had Blueberries and Raspberries in it.
