DIY Hanging Rabbit Toy
Not only is this a great toy
for rabbit breeds with big hind feet, that like to stand up, but rabbits who like to chew. *Cough**Cough** ALL RABBITS:) Some breeds with big feet are the Holland Lop rabbit and the Lionhead rabbit. Or really just rabbits in general.
(*One of my rabbits checking out her new toy!!)

Rabbits love to chew so giving them toys they can chew on helps wear down there teeth to prevent buck teeth and broken teeth.
Lets Get Started!!
The first thing I did was gather my materials
You will need some sort of wire that the rabbit can't chew through, such as cage wire. Make sure the wire is thick, can’t rust, and isn’t copper.
Then I cut some
mulberry branches into sections. You can make different shapes or just do what I did.
You could also use apple, sycamore, pear, or cotton branches. My rabbits just prefer mulberry. Whatever you use just make sure that it is safe for your rabbit to ingest the branch or its leaves.
Make Different shapes out of the wood or if you are really making this a 5 min project then just cut it up.
Drill a hole in the middle of the wood or somewhere on the branch.
Thread the wood on
to the wire. Make sure none of the wires that are sticking out are sharp. You could sand the ends to make them smooth.
You can be creative by bending the wire, allowing some so spin, or letting some hing freely.
Hing up In your new toy in your rabbits habitat.
One of my cats was also having fun with it too(;
